Star Fall - The Starfall reading program is designed to be fun, exciting, and to instill confidence in young children as they learn to read. It’s systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice is perfect for the primary grades. The website is easy for students to navigate independently, but it is not intended as a surrogate for the teacher/parent. Read Write and Think -Highly engaging, interactive tools that help students accomplish a variety of goals—from organizing their thoughts to learning about language—all while having fun. In the Learning About Language section you’ll find things like ABC Match, Construct-a-Word, Word Family Sort, Word Wizard, and Picture Match. For parents and educators, the nice thing about the layout of the games on the main page is that when you roll the mouse over a particular game, the learning skill associated with that game is listed at the very top of the screen.
